Ulta Beauty Rewards is free, and regular members earn one point for each eligible dollar spent on qualifying products and Beauty Services. Platinum and Diamond members earn points at higher rates.
Points can be redeemed starting at 100 points, but their value increases at larger redemption levels. For example, 1,000 points provides $50 off while 2,000 points provides $125 off.
Watch Point Expiration and Save Strategically
Standard member points expire at the end of the calendar quarter following 12 months from when they were earned. Platinum and Diamond points do not expire while the qualifying status is maintained.
Saving toward 2,000 points can provide stronger redemption value, but points close to expiration are usually better used on a planned purchase rather than lost while waiting for a larger balance.
Activate Point Multipliers Before Checkout
Ulta regularly offers bonus-point promotions on selected brands, categories, services, or complete purchases. Many multiplier offers must be activated in the Rewards account before the transaction.
Eligible bonus-point offers can sometimes work together, making multipliers especially useful for purchases that were already planned. The exact products, dates, and shopping method should be checked before ordering.
Compare Coupons, Beauty Steals, and Free Gifts
A coupon lowers the current price, while a point multiplier creates value for a later purchase. Ulta coupons can also have brand and product exclusions, so the final bag total should be compared with any active sale or Beauty Steal.
Gifts with Purchase can add value when an order already meets the requirement. Some gifts must be added to the bag, and availability is limited, so the gift should appear at the expected price before checkout.

Plan Bigger Restocks Around Major Beauty Sales
Ulta's 21+ Days of Beauty runs twice a year, in March and September, with rotating Daily and Weekly Beauty Steals at 50% off selected products. Other brand and category sales run throughout the year.

Use Free Pickup for Smaller Orders
Ulta offers free store and curbside pickup with no minimum purchase. Eligible orders placed by 6 PM local time are generally ready within two hours.
Pickup can be especially useful for a small order that does not qualify for free shipping, although some online-only promotions and Gifts with Purchase may require shipped orders.
Use Replenish & Save for Regular Restocks
Replenish & Save provides 5% off eligible subscription products and free shipping on every subscription order. Delivery frequency can be changed, skipped, paused, or canceled without a fee.
Regular promo codes do not apply to Replenish & Save orders, and Rewards points can be redeemed only on the initial subscription order. The subscription price should therefore be compared with current sales before a recurring order is started.
