Check Prices and Offers in the Walmart App
The Walmart app can be used in stores to scan product barcodes, check the current price, and find eligible manufacturer offers. Store pricing and availability can differ from Walmart.com, pickup, and shipping prices.
Setting the correct store before scanning helps make the comparison more useful, especially for clearance and locally priced merchandise.
Claim Walmart Cash Before Buying
Walmart Cash manufacturer offers must be claimed in a Walmart account before the qualifying product is purchased. In stores, the account can be connected at checkout by scanning the QR code; online, eligible Walmart Cash is added after the order is picked up or delivered.
Existing Walmart Cash can be redeemed toward future eligible Walmart purchases. A paper manufacturer coupon and a Walmart Cash manufacturer offer cannot both be used for the same item in the same purchase.
Compare Rollbacks, Clearance, and Private Brands
Rollbacks and clearance can lower prices across groceries, household products, apparel, toys, electronics, and seasonal merchandise. Walmart private brands such as Great Value, Equate, Mainstays, Marketside, and bettergoods can provide another price point to compare.
For groceries and household basics, unit price and package size usually give a better comparison than the advertised markdown alone.

Use Manufacturer Coupons Correctly
Walmart accepts valid paper manufacturer coupons and qualifying print-at-home manufacturer coupons with a scannable barcode. Coupons must match the purchased product and cannot be expired.
The current policy allows one paper manufacturer coupon per item and generally limits identical coupons to four per household per day unless the coupon states otherwise. Manufacturer coupons shown only on a phone or other digital device are not accepted.
Know When Walmart Will Price Match
Walmart stores can match the current Walmart.com price of an identical item sold directly by Walmart when it is in stock online. The request must be made at checkout and may require associate or supervisor verification.
Competitor prices, Marketplace sellers, other Walmart stores, clearance, Rollbacks, Black Friday offers, and other limited-time Walmart.com promotions are excluded. Walmart.com itself does not price match competitor or store prices.
Compare Pickup, Shipping, and Walmart+
Walmart pickup is free on eligible orders of $35 or more, while smaller orders can carry a below-minimum fee. Standard store delivery normally has a delivery fee for non-members.
Walmart+ includes free shipping with no order minimum on eligible items sold or shipped by Walmart and free store delivery on qualifying orders of $35 or more. Marketplace, oversized, freight, Express, and location-based charges can have different rules.
College and graduate students who qualify can receive Walmart+ Student for 50% off. Walmart+ Assist also provides a 50% membership discount to qualifying recipients of programs including SNAP, WIC, and Medicaid.
